Turkmen and Dom Filming Project

Avel Chuklanov partnered with Dar At-Ta'awun to film documentational videos of the Dom and Turkmen in the last week of September 2025. Avel is a distinguished videographer and has partnered with many NGOs in the past to film similar videos. Dar At-Ta'awun is very grateful for his immense work and help.

The videos document Dom and Turkmen in many parts of Jordan, such as Madaba, Irbid, and Mustanada. The videos will be presented at the upcoming Dom Cultural Event in October, an event aiming to portray the lives of Dom and Turkmen in Jordan and contrast this with popular misconceptions or negative stereotypes surrounding them.
